Overview

The Tennessee Valley Authority is a federally owned corporation that provides electricity, flood control, river navigation, and land management for the Tennessee River system in 7 Southeastern states. I was part of a team that helped TVA implement the new Enterprise Content Managment system across their organization after 30+ years on a previous platform. In case you were unaware, Government employees don't like new stuff at work. That kept things way more interesting than they sound on a resume.

Dates & places

• On-site at Chattanooga, TN Headquarters

• Some travel to implementation sites for roll-out and training

User Experience Intern

• Created training videos to reflect current processes and user interface in the company's new ERP system

• Edited and prood-read training materials to maintain consistent document formatting and ensure training accuracy

• Coordinated with Training Team to plan and implement communication campaigns on each business segment software rollout

• Performed Search Enging Optimization for the Knowledge Center's internal document search

• Used Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create rebranding proposals, wireframes and mockups
